SHIPPING POLICY
We use UPS & USPS’s top class mail service & Priority Mail, to ship out our baked goods & pastry mixes. Foster's Heritage-Inspired Sweets & Mixes (a division of Down Home Bakery, LLC.) is not responsible for damages or delays caused by our shipping partners. UPS & Priority Mail are comparable mail processing services that deliver parcels at an expedited speed than First Class Mail.

How long will your order take for delivery? Domestic deliveries arrive in 1-4 business days and are dependent on where the package originates from and where it’s going.
Use the USPS interactive map to determine the timeline of delivery. Use area code '60440' for the package's origination zip code.

Deliveries to Group Homes, Hotels, Colleges & Hospitals
When delivering orders to these types of addresses, it is the responsibility of the mailroom or receiving department at the locations to deliver to recipients. This may cause delays as the mailroom or receiving department does not guarantee delivery within a given time period.
Because Foster's Heritage-Inspired Sweets & Mixes (a division of Down Home Bakery, LLC.) uses no preservatives, we recommend expedited delivery services to states west of the Mississippi, northeastern states and the state of Florida. Our cookies are best enjoyed within 4-5 days after baking. If not consuming baked goods within this time period, please freeze within a couple days of receipt.

Local Deliveries to Western Suburbs of Chicago

There are twenty-nine local zip codes we will make deliveries to. During the ordering process, if your zip code is declined, this is not a locality that we deliver to.
REFUND POLICY
Foster's Heritage-Inspired Sweets & Mixes (a division of Down Home Bakery, LLC.) does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on any goods sold unless the reason for return or exchange is due to the product being defective or packaging of the goods caused the damages claimed. Shipments which are received later than the shipping company’s original estimate are out of our control and thus do not constitute grounds for return or credit. If the product is defective or poor packaging led to damage, purchased goods may only be returned within 24 hours of the Proof of Delivery from our shipping partner. To initiate a return please submit a request to our customer service at custserv@downhomebakery.com or via our contact form on this website. Once approved, a return authorization form will be sent to the email provided and must be included with the returned product. No partially eaten or other foreign material may be included with the return.
Upon receipt, all returns will be inspected to ensure the product meets our return requirements. Foster's Heritage-Inspired Sweets & Mixes (a division of Down Home Bakery, LLC.) reserves the right to deny any refund that does not meet the aforementioned return requirements. Refunds are only processed once we have had an opportunity to inspect the returned product. Returns should be mailed to: Down Home Bakery, LLC. , 105 Canterbury Lane, #553, Bolingbrook, IL, 60440. The purchaser will be responsible for any shipping costs for any and all returns. Any order which was shipped as "Free Shipping" and approved for refund will have the refund processed from the total cost less the actual shipping cost.
Foster's Heritage-Inspired Sweets & Mixes (a division of Down Home Bakery, LLC.) is not responsible for damages or delays caused by our shipping partners due to weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disaster, inaccurate shipping or address information collected by the customer, or mistakes on the part of our shipping partners' employees. As such, we are not able to offer refunds for those reasons. Our cookies and candies are shipped with insurance via First Class, Priority Mail or UPS Ground. As the purchaser you may file a claim with our shipping partners against the provided insurance. If additional information is needed to process your claim, Down Home Bakery, LLC. will happily provide the necessary information to file your claim.
